Float for Android Released

The game Float created by Crawl Space Games initially for the Apple devices, now has reached the Android Market. This application is very addictive and if you don’t have a watch or something to see the hour, then you will definitely lose the time. This is not my opinion only, but also of others who have tried this application.

The application works on iPad, iPhone and iPod Touch and on the Android-based devices. The price of this app is of $0.99 and the only technical requirement that is imposed by the developer is to have the Android 2.2 or later operating system on your device. Basically, the app needs the user to keep the balloons that are floating on its screen for as long as possible in the air, and if the user can, it would be preferable to complete the level in several seconds, so that the balloons will rise, instead of falling down to earth, in our case down to the bottom of the smartphone or tablet, depending on what you own.

This is the number one application for kids in 39 countries. My opinion is that the grow-ups will be thrilled about this app, just like the kids, if not more. There are more than 1 million downloads of this application all over the world. There, you will find a video presentation of the app, which is more than 1000 words of a written presentation.

Thanks to the capabilities of a touchscreen, the kids and the adults alike will take advantages of this wonderful game by tapping the balloons that have different shapes and which, as I said before, must not go down. This is not as easy as it seems, because from time to time, some obstacles appear, such as spikes, from which you have to protect the balloons. Web development does not mean necessarily the creation of sites, but also the creation of applications that are running in the online environment. I have found a site, from where you can get a few ideas of what this means. You will start with some knowledge that is not taught at a school or a university, where most likely you will learn C and C++. You will learn here something about your first Web page, created in HTML, which is the easiest markup language and the only one that I know.

Then, you will learn a bit about the images, you will see that the images are a bit more complicated than the rest of the things you have learned until then, and you will probably want to quit learning. You will see then what are the tables and the frames and how can they be used to create a page in a more different way than the rest of the pages that you see online.

Some other useful stuff will be presented to you for free on the same site and then you will switch the register, moving on to CSS and Apache. There is a short introduction to ASP and then forms, control structures and variables and cookies. How to use a database and what are the most interesting uses of it. What are the databases that you have used until now and in what purpose? Do you know another managing program, except Access created by Microsoft to handle the databases that you can use? Google Android 1.7 OS

You need to know better one programming language very well, then to know many, but little parts of them and in the end, if someone says to you to create a software by using that programming language, you to move from one corner to another, saying that in fact you can’t do this. You need to know very well one language and then, after learning it, then you will learn easier other languages, if you will be interested still in learning other programs. If you are a C developer, then I guess you are not interested anymore in learning some other languages.

Decide what programming language to learn and decide how you are going to learn it. If you are going to a university, then most likely you will learn C, which is the most difficult and you need some good years to learn it properly. If you want another good programming language that can be used to create apps for Android, no matter what version, you can use Pascal. I don’t like Pascal, I prefer C. I am saying this because I have learned Pascal and I hated it.

Java is another important programming language, but still it is below C. you don’t get important concepts like you do in C, where the language is more complexe. If you are planning to learn Visual Basic, then you should know some alternatives to this language. Delphi is one of them and then there is Phyton and Perl. I don’t know these languages, I know that there are required by lower employers and I think that if you are searching for a good scripting programming language, you should go for JavaScript. I would choose this program. If you learn how to program an application, then you will see the advantages. And besides application, you can create also sites, if you need something that is easier.1

Google Android OS 2.1 Programming

It does not matter if we are talking about the Google Android operating system or of the iOS. They are the same, I mean you must know a programming language very well before starting to create applications and something even greater, which is an operating system. Just like the author of this article, I feel that you need to focus on one programming language and then the rest of those which you will learn will be better understood by you, since they are easier to understand.

The first condition that you need to fulfil is to establish why do you want to learn a language like this. Would not be easier for you to learn Italian or Spanish? If the answer is No, then you can start learning a programming language. If you ask me, I would say that I would prefer learning 10 programming languages than to learn the Hungarian language, which I find extremely difficult and they could help me more, than this language. This is what you should do as well. Why do you want to learn to program for Android? Do you think that the applications that you will create will be better than the rest of the apps that are already on the market? If you think that you can handle it, then it is the moment to start learning.

I, for example, learned the Pascal language, Turbo Pascal, which is a version of Pascal and I know that I hated it. But when I started to learn PHP, I found it very attractive. This is another thing that you should do. C and C++ are more for software developers, for those who create programs that are used in banks or in other institutions. If all you want to do is to create apps, then PHP and Perl will be enough for you. Still, those who know C are better looked at, don’t ask me why.1

Android OS or iPhone OS

The Android OS or the iOS, they both use the programming languages to be created. They are created using more programming languages at the same time. You can speak something in Italian and then in English, if the words are extremely familiar, like Ti amo or I love you, every person in this world will understand them. Or when you say Stop, you understand what the person is saying right? If you live at the countryside and if you hear someone saying Stop in English, then I am sure that you will understand what he or she is saying.

Some of the expressions that are used in the Android OS and in the iOS are most likely the While statements, which are used in an infinite loop sometimes. What does this mean? That the infinite loop will appear along with the while(true) instruction. In other words, if the computer will see something true there, it will show something. You can create this instruction of the time is from 9 am to 10 am. The computer may show the Good Morning sign, between these hours, so when the instruction is true.

The while(true) statement is followed by a curly brace where you write what you want to be showed over and over again. To make the computer to stop from showing you the commands that are written between the curly braces or the single command that is written, which is most likely a string, because the letters are written with the help of some quotes and they represent a string, you have to click on the Stop button, which luckily is present in this program on this site.

The loops are useful for counting. How can you make the computer to count from the number n to the number n+n+n+ and so on? This is very simple and you can do this in this way. First of all, you need to write the instruction to show you something: show(“counting”) n=1, while(true). Then after this, if you remember what I have just said, after you write while(true), you need to write also the curly braces, or better said to open the curly brace {show(n); n=n+1;} In this case, the computer can count, but the truth is that the computer does not do this by itself. You need to press ok, after the computer shows 1, then after it shows 2, after it shows 3 and so on.1
