The latest creations of Android devices are coming with more improved features and capabilities. As supporting an Android operating system, users can download from Android Market a large number of applications, from various categories, as games, entertainment, health, sport, weather, education, news, and much more others. When downloading the apps, there is a specific memory space needed, as the operating files are installed directly on the mobiles internal memory. As there are no limitations of numbers of applications that can be downloaded on an Android device, more users are fronting the issue of occupying all the phone memory. This is why, developers have come with a solution, creating applications that have the capacity of saving apps directly on the SD card, from where it can be moved to an computer, for example.

With the launch of Android 2.2 version, also called Froyo, the feature of moving the apps to SD card, is coming as standard. Even if at installation, the apps are copied on the internal memory storage, users can go in the Settings menu and select, with a single touch, to move the application to the SD card. The moved application remains functional, even if played from SD card. This way, users will be limited now only by the storage capacity of the SD card, for installing numerous and various applications on their Android mobiles.

I still have 298mB of internal phone storage. People want to move all their applications to their memory card to save room that they don’t even need to save. They’re just ruining the performance of their phone by doing so. I have never moved an application to my sd card and I never plan on it.
