Android Apps Task Killer

The functionality of an Android mobile depends on many factors, from which the memory usage is one of them. The memory of an device running on Android can be consumed when a large number of applications are opened. Some applications can start automatically when the phone is turned one, or can be invoked by some events. Users are recommended to kill the apps manually, instead of using the auto killing option. This app is easy to use and effective for cleaning the memory of the Android devices. Users can set up a specific time when the kill to start, or can change the frequency time. This app will not help with the life of the battery directly, but by killing the running apps the battery consumption will be reduced.

Another app for killing running apps, that is in fact the lite version of the Advanced Task Killer app. Known also under the name of Cleanoid, the Task Killer app can be used with success for closing the applications that are running in background. The app is supported by the Froyo Android version.

With this app users can select the apps to be killed, an app or a list of app to be ignored when cleaning, or can select a default action. The Auto Kill feature can be selected with three various auto-kill levels, that are: safe (for killing only the apps that are not running but are consuming memory), aggressive (to kill all the apps that are running in background and those not running), and crazy (kills all the apps, excepting those in usage at that moment).

This App allows users to kill the tasks running in background, in an easy and simple mode. Main features of the app: ignore list, auto kill when screen off, details about memory usage and battery power, notification widget in the status bar, one-click kill, a fill service for Android Froyo and superior versions, and the possibility to ignore, kill or uninstall apps, to get details or switch to other actions.  

*Easy Task Killer

A free application that can be downloaded from Android Market and that can be used to stop unwanted processed and applications running on background. The app has now a new design, is fast and simple to use. Main features: one touch kill, fast startup, memory info, save battery and CPU, 2SD card support. Available buttons: exit, stop all and refresh. The app can be used for stopping all apps, and this action will restart all apps working and clean the phone’s memory, without the need of switching off the Android device. With this app users are also getting information about the memory usage.

Another app for killing the running processes and apps from the Android devices, that is currently available for free on Android Market. After tasks are killed, more resources will be released for other applications. The always on top button will allow to kill immediately the top most application.
