The capabilities of Android mobiles are given not only by the features included in the Android device, but also by the large opportunities offered by the large number of Android applications, created by third party developers. The basic purpose of the application is that to record all calls made from the Android mobile, no matter if incoming or outgoing. For recording the calls, the app is using the incorporated microphone of the Android device. In order to obtain a high quality of the conversations, users are advised during the call to turn on the loudspeaker. All recorder conversations are saved on the memory card of the mobile, in a file called “Record My Call”.

For those interested in how to record the phone calls using this app, here are the steps to be followed:

in the main application, users have to check the Record My Call box;

from this moment, the app will start to record all incoming and outgoing calls;

activate speaker function during conversations, in order to obtain a high audio quality;

the recorded conversations can be review or deleted from the “preferences –>show review”;

if the preference menu, the “delay time” and “prevent phone from sleep” functions have to be checked, as on some mobiles the recording of the conversation can be stopped when these functions are becoming active.
On Android Market, the Record My Call application, has been rated with four stars (from maximum five), and at present can be downloaded for free. The app is requiring a minimum Android 1.6 version, and is compatible with all other superior versions.
