T-mobile Android Phone

Good: The T-Mobile G1 comes with a cool keyboard (QUERTY type), it offers 3g, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and of course GPS features. The Android operating system allows excellent integration into Google’s apps and the use of YouTube.

Bad: The cell phone doesn’t have at least a standard jack for headphones and lacks some key software that users would have loved to see on it. Also, because of the design the phone is reported to be somewhat uncomfortable when holding and sometimes difficult to use because of this. Another black dot for the phone is the audio quality which isn’t that terrific and the fact that when you download some apps for it via the Internet they can’t be saved directly to the memory card.

Conclusions: Though the design features are not mind blowing the real beautiful thing behind this cell phone is the Android running it. Thanks to it the smartphone generation become more powerful and personal. The phone is excellent for gadget enthusiasts and not that appreciated among business type individuals.

The T-Mobile G1 compared to the original iPhone offers much more functionality like multimedia messages, an improved phone camera and a new addition, the Google Street View. It offers a reliable performance output along with Bluetooth, video recording with the camera and a cool keyboard. The G1 has a height of 4.6 inches and is 0.6 inches wide. It weighs around 5.6 ounces. Its overall design features make it interesting and weird instead of sexy or glamorous. Compared to the iPhone, the G1 looses badly in overall design. The QUERTY keyboard packed into the phones solid construction is amazing and very pleasant to use. It has a soft touch and users report it to feel somewhat rubberlike, this making it very appreciative and very comfortable to hold and use. Due to its full QWERTY keyboard and big touch screen it’s a perfect phone for all those users out there who are looking for exactly there two things in a phone. The display of the phone is a touch screen type measuring 3.2 inches and outputs a 320×480 resolution. The touch screen is also capacitive, which is really great. T-Mobile bringing LG Optimus 2X and LG Optimus Pad to their network

The two devices will be hitting T-Mobile pretty soon according to some rumors, but don’t look for the devices with these names, rather with their T-Mobile names (what is up with everyone naming the same device, in the same country differently?). As such you’ll find the LG Optimus 2X with the name of T-Mobile G2X and the LG Optimus Pad will be joining the carrier with the G-Slate name.

LG’s Optimus 2X has been around for quite a while now, and saw the light of the day in South Korea last year, but the rest of the world had yet to await its arrival. In any case, it seem that we have luck as the T-Mobile G2X will be arriving on the 20th of April.

The other device to show off on the network at the same time is LG Optimus Pad or the T-Mobile G-Slate. The tablet didn’t see the light of the day anywhere yet, so the network might just be the first one to offer the device to its client.
Measurements for the G-Slate are: 9.57 x 5.88 x 0.50 inches (243 x 149.4 x 12.8 mm) while the weight sits at 22.22 ounces (630 grams). Both devices look really great. Look for both of them on the 20th of April on T-Mobile!1
