Installing applications on your Android smart-phone is an easy and accessible procedure, and can be done by installing APK or files directly on your device. As the Android operation system is a newcomer on mobile market, you should firstly make sure the application you desire is compatible with your Android version. There are two modes you can install an application on your device:

If you want to install an application that is not available on the Android market, you can do a manual installation, by copying firstly the apps on your device SD card and then install it. As Android comes with standard settings for downloading applications directly from Android market, you have to change these settings from “Applications” menu, by selecting the box “Unknown Sources”. This way you can save the application from the external source on your Android SD card and then install the application.

The second option, and the most accessible one is to connect to the Android Market, that is offering over 200,000 applications and this number is increasing day by day. The Android Market is available if you log in with a Google Account and on your Android browser. If this was not done at the beginning in your Settings menu, it can be added directly from your mobile. In order to install the selected an application, firstly you have to do a search from available categories, select the wanted apps and download it. After installation is successful, the application you have downloaded is available in your Android menu. If you want you can leave comments and ratings about applications on Android market.
After application is successful installed on your Android mobile, it should be immediately accessible from Menu in order to enjoy it! If want to remove an application this can be done from Menu –>Settings –> Applications, select Manage and click Uninstall button on the application you want to uninstall.
