You cannot install the Android operating system on your personal computer, because this is an operating system created for the mobile platforms, such as smartphones and tablets and you all know that a personal computer is something that is bigger and which requires more attention in transportation, because it is not that portable. Even a laptop, which is considered to be a portable device, may not be that portable when compared to a smartphone, which could have the screen of only 3 inches, compared to a laptop, which could have 15 inches in diagonal or more. Less than 10 inches makes the laptop to be a netbook and here we are making the difference between the notebooks and the smartphones.

But this does not mean that you cannot create apps that will run on this mobile platform, by using your computer, which could run iOS or who knows, Windows or Linux. It does not matter what operating system are you using, as long as the final application will be created entirely correct and it will run without errors and all sorts of bugs. Which is weird is that some applications, even though they pass the test and the Android engineers approve them, when they reach the Market, they become extremely odd, because they force close and the users say that the application do not deserve to receive not even a star from the rating system that is available on the Android Market page. I don’t see how this can happen, but it is weird that it does.

So, the first time, the application runs pretty well, and it is accepted, and then when the users buy it or download it for free, the app stops working correctly. I don’t know how this can happen, and I hope that the rate of the apps that do not work correctly will be reduced. I know that the programmers do their best to create apps that really work, but some of them simply do not pass this test. To make sure that the app is great, add that the app works on this device and on that device. In this way, you will avoid the negative comments coming from the users of those devices where the app does not run correctly or where the app does not run at all.1
